Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, who is an actor as well as a producer, director and playwright, teacher, and director of drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father hails from Britain, while her mother is the "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's early memories of attending rehearsals for play and observing her mother at her job. While still a small kid, she made the rounds in a variety of commercials. Anna moved to Toronto, Ontario, to pursue her acting. Over the years that followed, she eventually relocated to Los Angeles. She came across Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actors' training held in Los Angeles, and they were engaged in the year 2009.
