Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. She was born and raised in California USA she started her modelling career in Italy. Her acting career began in the year 1996, when she appeared in the TV film Her Costly Affair. The actress struggled for an appearance on Starship Troopers. It was a hard time for her to transition between modeling and acting because the models werent usually considered to be good actors and tended to be granted smaller, insignificant roles. Amy was determined to keep trying. She worked her way up to greater roles, starting in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. Then she stepped into main roles for the 2005 romantic comedy film Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy was finally recognized for the role she'd been looking for for over a decade. She then continued to appear in several of the most famous film productions, such as the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless, where she played an enduring character.
