Lowell started her acting career when appeared in Dangerously Close. She then played a small role as the Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross. She also had roles co-starring alongside Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) as well as Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. She also appeared on Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she played the identical role as Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. Then, in 2022, she reprised her role on the original show. Before she was cast in that role, however she was unhappy in her acting career and decided to pursue a degree in documentary filmmaking at New York University. [4] She has stopped acting since the mid-2000s. Lowell was able to lend Lowell her voice and likeness in 2012 as she reprised her Licence to Kill part in the video game 007 Legends. The year 2018 saw her return to TV, where she appeared on Blue Bloods. [7][8] Personal life Lowell was married three times. Her first husband was fashion photographer John Stember, to whom she was married from 1984 until 1988. [9][10] The couple were married from 1989 until 1995 with actor Griffin Dunne and they have daughter named Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell was married to actor Richard Gere in November 2002,[11] following the birth of their son Homer James Jigme Gere who was born in February 2000. Two years later, after eleven years of marriage, they separated in September 2013. The couple was involved in an extremely controversial divorce proceeding in New York Supreme Court for three years. The divorce case was finally resolved in October of 2016. [13]
